The event was started at 11.00am on Saturday, 1/feb/2014, with enlighten of ‘Divas’ by the college principal Dr. S.N Mali and college Co-coordinators/teachers and with presence of wide range student of various departments of College. Number of student present for event were 120 student.
The college principal gave a good inspiring speech  “the students should initiate this type of activities and enhance their skills and contribute to the open source to make the World, particularly Web World a better place for living  , and appreciated  the Firefox student Ambassador Varun Pailwan for good initiatives , and Mozilla Firefox to create a such good open source platform for students relation”.

During the presentation varun, showed  Mozilla project s with help of Mozilla website.
Showed  the importance of Open source technology. He explained every point in presentation with detailed orientation. Lastly Urged to student take part in Mozilla Open source technologies and contribute to it.

Sinhgad Institutes Mozilla Club,  is the club related to all Nine Sinhagd Institutes in Nahre Sinhgad Campus of Pune University.
 The club lead is Varun Pailwan.
 Mozilla exist to promote openness ,innovation & opportunity on the internet with continuous empowering advanced technology.All Mozilla projects uses a community based approach to create world class open source software with evolving technology.Mozilla people are focused on advanced vision of Internet and related technologies and also provide a frame work for other people to effectively utilize the Internet. It is linked with people of wide culture , irrespective to their technical background. It aims to make the web / Internet a better place for everyone in the world and also believes that Individual security on Internet is fundamental. This club will try to spread all the knowledge related to MOZILLA technology (Products), such as Firefox browser, Applications, Mozilla OS and many more.The club students will get all facilities like Mozilla resources,Mozilla labs, Webmaker and all Events related to Mozilla Firefox. This club will promote the Mozilla to help out to keep it's motive " The Web should remain open & accessible to all" & creating innovation & opportunity to every one.
